Unfortunately, on September 20, 2024, Dmytro Nefyodov was killed during a combat mission near the village of Pleshchiyivka, Donetsk region.

He is survived by his wife, son, brother and parents.

The soldier was awarded the Order "For Courage" of the III degree (posthumously).

Based on the evidence collected, SBU investigators served the detainee a notice of suspicion under several articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:

▪️ part 3 of Article 15, part 1 of Article 114-1 (unfinished attempt to obstruct the lawful activities of the Armed Forces and other military formations);
▪️ part 3 of Art. 369-2 (acceptance of an offer, promise or receipt of an unlawful benefit for oneself or a third party for influencing the decision-making of a person authorized to perform state functions, combined with extortion of such benefit).

The investigation is ongoing to identify all participants and circumstances of the crime. The offender faces up to 8 years in prison with confiscation of property.

The operation was conducted jointly with the internal and internal security units of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine under the supervision of the Prosecutor General's Office.
