That is why, for us at the Olena Zelenska Foundation, the construction of shelters in schools and kindergartens is not only about providing protection in times of alarm. It is about ensuring that children have a childhood with lessons, friends and activities.

🟦 Together with the Foundation's team, I visited four new shelters in Chernihiv region. We talked to children and teachers, saw how classes are held in these spaces and how children return to the usual rhythm of school days.

✅ 10 shelters are already operating in Chernihiv region with the support of the Foundation, and in total, we have already restored and equipped 30 shelters in Ukraine. Thanks to this, more than 13 thousand children have been able to study offline.

Shelters are not only a space for learning, but also a place for additional workshops. Here, the Foundation's team organized classes for children, during which experts from the State Emergency Service, the National Police and the Emergency Medicine Center told them how to act in case of fire or mine danger, why it is important to follow traffic rules and how to provide first aid. I am sincerely grateful to the specialists of these services for their work and care for children. Because education today is also about knowledge that can save lives.

To gather intelligence, the young man "traveled" through the central regions of Ukraine, where he secretly took pictures of potential targets and the effects of enemy shelling.

In case of detection of an aircraft, the agent planned to install "beacons" around the perimeter with remote access for the occupiers.

With the help of spy devices, the enemy hoped to track the presence of air bases and the deployment of mobile air defense groups, which he planned to attack.

The SBU officers exposed the agent in advance and detained him before he installed the spy device.

During the searches, they seized a smartphone with evidence of contacts with his handler and a mini-video camera for adjusting Russian air attacks.

The SBU investigators served the suspect a notice of suspicion under Part 2 Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law).
