From the beginning of the full-scale war, the traitor helped the occupiers attack the cities of Rubizhne, Siverskodonetsk and Lysychansk in Luhansk region. And during the battles for Spirne in Donetsk region in 2024, he was captured by the Defense Forces.

According to the SBU military counterintelligence, two other convicts lived in the temporarily occupied territories of Luhansk region and fought in the Bakhmut direction.

During a combat engagement in the summer of 2024, Ukrainian defenders took him prisoner near Chasovyi Yar.

In the fall of 2024, Ukrainian defenders captured the attacker during fighting near Bilohorivka in the same direction of the eastern front.

The fourth convicted is a native of Kharkiv region, who lived for a long time in Russia, from where he mobilized to the 59th Tank Regiment of the Russian Federation.

After a short combat training, the occupiers sent him to attack the positions of Ukrainian troops near the village of Terny in Donetsk region. In the battle, the Defense Forces destroyed his unit, and the surviving traitor was taken prisoner.

Based on the evidence collected, the court found the perpetrators guilty of crimes under four articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:

According to the investigation, both defendants "dispersed" hostile propaganda while communicating with parishioners, as well as through their accounts on social networks and messengers.

Thus, a protopriest of one of the churches in Zhytomyr region was suspected of supporting the Kremlin's policy.

It was also documented that in his posts, this cleric humiliated the honor and dignity of representatives of the Jewish people.

Another person involved was a hieromonk of a church in Vinnytsia region who agitated for the seizure of Kyiv and other regions of Ukraine.

He repeatedly wrote about this in his comments under pro-Kremlin posts in popular messengers.

The SBU-initiated examination confirmed the facts of the criminal actions of the defendants aimed at undermining the socio-political situation in Ukraine in favor of Russia.

During the searches, the SBU seized mobile phones and computer equipment with evidence of illegal activities.

SBU investigators have served both clerics a notice of suspicion under three articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:

1, 2 of Article 110 (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine)
▪ Part 1 of Article 161 (violation of equality of citizens based on their race, nationality, region, or religious beliefs);
▪ paras. 2, 3, Art. 436-2 (justification, recognition as lawful, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants).

The investigation is ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the crime. The offenders face up to 10 years in prison with confiscation of property.

The operation was conducted by the SBU officers in Vinnytsia and Zhytomyr regions under the procedural supervision of the regional prosecutor's offices.

The SBU thwarted new attempts of the FSB to expand its agent network in Donetsk region. As a result of counter-sabotage measures in the frontline areas of the region, two enemy agents who adjusted Russian fire on Ukrainian defenders were detained.

Both suspects acted separately. One of them is a 47-year-old resident of Dachne village. According to the case file, she directed Russian air strikes at the locations of the Defense Forces in the Pokrovsk sector.

The racists were targeting electronic warfare stations and firing positions of the AFU artillery, which covers the advanced infantry units of Ukrainian troops.

To gather information, the woman walked the area near the contact line on her own and recorded the coordinates of potential targets.

She sent the information to her Russian handler via messenger in the form of text messages in an anonymous chat room.

Feeling the inevitability of punishment, the traitor left for Dnipropetrovs'k region, where she tried to "lay low". However, SBU counterintelligence established her location and detained her in a rented apartment.
