A Russian army strike on a five-story building in Poltava killed a family: a husband, wife and their nine-year-old daughter

In the morning of February 1, drones and X-22 missile of the Russian Armed Forces attacked a residential five-storey building in Poltava, the whole entrance was completely destroyed, according to the personnel and statements of the State Emergency Situations Service of Ukraine.

A total of 14 people were killed, including two children aged nine and 12. 20 people were injured, of whom four were children aged three months, two years, eight and 12 years.

Search and rescue operations have been completed.

Among the dead is a family who lived on the second floor of the destroyed house. They are 38-year-old biology teacher and employee of "Novaya Posta" Elena Yavorskaya (her death was reported by her employer), her husband, Dmitry, and their daughter, 9-year-old Sofia.
