He was born in the village of Fedorivka, Khabarovsk Territory, and at the age of 6 moved to Ukraine with his family. He went to elementary school in a village in the Zhytomyr region. From an early age, he was very fond of nature, often went fishing and went to the forest to pick mushrooms. After military service, he worked as a laborer, driller, and tractor driver.

In 2015-2016, he participated in the ATO as a mechanic-driver-grenade launcher. After returning home, where his wife and two daughters were waiting for him, he continued to work in an agricultural company.

On February 25, 2022, Denys again defended the country, serving in the Air Assault Forces. He performed combat missions in Kyiv, Kherson, Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions. He never left his comrades on the battlefield and took the wounded from under fire.

Unfortunately, on January 11, 2024, Denys Levychev was killed by artillery shelling. His birthday became the day of his death...
