SBU Military Counterintelligence detained another FSB agent in Kharkiv region. He was preparing a series of rocket and bomb attacks on the combat positions of the Defense Forces, which are protecting the region from a new Russian offensive.

According to the available data, the main targets of the enemy were the base points of radar stations and air defense missile systems.

In order to fire on Ukrainian targets, the agent tried to establish and transmit their coordinates to the Russian special service.

To accomplish this task, he traveled around the suburbs of the regional center, where he covertly recorded the locations of possible deployments of Ukrainian Armed Forces units.

However, the SBU prevented the enemy's plans and detained the offender in his own home.

At the same time, additional measures were taken to secure the positions of the Armed Forces.

The detainee's tools of criminal activity were seized.

According to the investigation, the enemy accomplice was a 30-year-old resident of a village in Kharkiv district.

At the end of 2023, he was recruited into the agent apparatus of the enemy special service and was tasked with mobilizing into the Armed Forces of Ukraine in addition to transmitting data on air defense facilities.

However, military counterintelligence officers prevented the enemy agent from infiltrating a unit of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the stage of registration.

Based on the evidence obtained, SBU investigators served the detainee a notice of suspicion under Part 2 Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law).

The offender is in custody. He faces life imprisonment.

The operation was conducted under the procedural supervision of the Regional Prosecutor's Office.

У затриманого вилучено знаряддя злочинної діяльності.

За даними слідства, ворожим поплічником виявився 30-річний мешканець одного із селищ Харківського району.

Наприкінці 2023 року він був завербований до агентурного апарату ворожої спецслужби та отримав завдання окрім передачі даних про обʼєкти ППО, мобілізуватись до лав ЗСУ.

Але військові контррозвідники запобігли проникненню ворожого агента до підрозділу Збройних Сил України на стадії оформлення.

На підставі отриманих доказів слідчі Служби безпеки повідомили затриманому про підозру за ч. 2 ст. 111 Кримінального кодексу України (державна зрада, вчинена в умовах воєнного стану).

Зловмисник перебуває під вартою. Йому загрожує довічне ув’язнення.

Спецоперацію проводили за процесуального керівництва обласної прокуратури.

Following the meeting, it was decided to monitor the use of demined agricultural land and prepare a letter to the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine with a proposal to compensate farmers in Kherson Oblast for the costs of demining their fields.

Following the meeting, it was decided to monitor the use of demined agricultural land and prepare a letter to the Ministry of Economy of Ukraine with a proposal to compensate farmers in Kherson Oblast for the costs of demining their fields.
