In January 2023, he rejoined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served as a grenade launcher of the 81st separate airmobile brigade of the Air Assault Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He took part in battles with the Russian occupiers, fought in the Liman direction.

Unfortunately, on April 2, 2023, soldier Oleh Bohomol was killed during a combat mission near the village of Dibrova, Luhansk region...
