Since April 2024, the defender has been defending the Kharkiv region. On June 7, 2024, near the village of Liptsi, Denys Tsios, while saving his comrade-in-arms, sustained injuries incompatible with life... He is survived by his wife, parents and three children.

The investigation revealed that the head of one of the logistics departments of the State Service of Ukraine for Transport and Communications was involved in the fraud. He involved several officials from the military unit that ordered the trucks, as well as representatives of an affiliated commercial entity.

According to the investigation, in the fall of 2024, the official of the State Service of Ukraine for Transport secured the victory in the tender for a controlled commercial enterprise.

This company "won" the tender despite the fact that, compared to other bidders, its offer was more expensive by more than UAH 64 million.

As a result of the searches, law enforcement officers seized documents, mobile phones, seals and other evidence confirming the illegal activity. They also found cash in foreign currency in the amount equivalent to over UAH 105 million. Its origin is being checked.

Currently, all participants of the scheme have been served a notice of suspicion in connection with the crimes committed under Part 5 of Art. 27 and Part 5 of Art. 426-1 (abuse of power in martial law, which led to grave consequences, and aiding and abetting) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

Investigative actions are ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the offense and bring to justice other possible participants in the scheme.
