After the liberation of a part of Kherson region, the suspect remained in the area, confident in her innocence. However, SBU officers exposed her.

She was served a notice of suspicion under Part 1 Art. 111-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (aiding the aggressor state) and a custody was chosen as a measure of restraint.

The investigation is ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the crime. The offender faces up to 12 years in prison.

The operation was conducted by the SBU Office in Kherson region jointly with the National Police under the procedural supervision of the Regional Prosecutor's Office.
