Since then, thanks to the joint actions of the Ukrainian special service and EU law enforcement, the SBU has managed to collect an indisputable evidence base against the detainees.

As a result, the court in Ukraine sentenced one of them to 11 years in prison and two others to 10 years in prison.

In addition, during this period, other members of the drug gang who were in the European Union were identified and detained.

Four of them - a Ukrainian and three natives of North Africa - have also already received prison sentences in the EU.

In total, the SBU documented this group on smuggling 35,000 drug-containing pills to Ukraine, worth over UAH 9 million.

To "legalize" their profits, the organizers of the "business" bought elite real estate and premium cars in the Carpathian region.

In Ukraine, a court found three organizers of a drug gang guilty under four articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

The money was also spent on the construction of wells and water pipes, arrangement of shelters, overhaul of a medical facility, and purchase of special equipment.
