The paratrooper was buried at the Frunziv Cemetery in Nizhyn.

At home, Viktor's parents, sister, wife, son, who was 3 years old at the time of his father's death, other relatives and friends were waiting for him.

«Вірний товариш, чуйний, люблячий чоловік і батько. Неможливо в декількох словах описати мого чоловіка, тому що він для нас найкращий…» – написала Ольга Піюк.

Поховали десантника на Фрунзівському кладовищі в Ніжині.

Вдома на Віктора чекали батьки, сестра, дружина, син, якому на момент загибелі тата було 3 роки, інші рідні та друзі.
