The offender was the former head of the legal division of the Department for Civil Protection and Defense of the Kherson Regional State Administration.

At the beginning of the full-scale invasion of Russia, the official supported the Russian invaders and cooperated with them.

During the temporary occupation of Kherson, he remained in the city and agreed to head the "legal support department" created by the aggressor in the then captured basin water resources management.

Among the main tasks of the collaborator was to "transfer" the institutions entrusted to him to the requirements of "Russian legislation".

To do this, he tried to recruit a "staff" of local residents, who were promised a "salary" in rubles and loyalty from the racists.

After the liberation of Kherson, the collaborator "went into hiding" at his place of residence in the regional center and thus hoped to avoid justice.

Based on the collected evidence, the SBU investigators served the offender a notice of suspicion under Part 5 Art. 111-1 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (collaboration).

The issue of choosing custody as a form of detention is being decided. The offender faces up to 10 years in prison.

The operation was conducted by the SBU Office in Kherson region under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor's Office.

Після звільнення Херсона колаборант «заліг на дно» за місцем проживання в обласному центрі і таким чином сподівався уникнути правосуддя.

На підставі зібраних доказів слідчі Служби безпеки повідомили фігуранту про підозру за ч. 5 ст. 111-1 Кримінального кодексу України (колабораційна діяльність).

Наразі вирішується питання про обрання йому запобіжного заходу у виді тримання під вартою. Зловмиснику загрожує до 10 років тюрми.

Комплексні заходи проводили співробітники СБУ в Херсонській області за процесуального керівництва органів прокуратури.

According to the investigation, Muraiev used the Nash TV channel under his control to massively disseminate Kremlin narratives in the information space of Ukraine.

In this way, he purposefully used his own media resource to manipulate the public opinion of Ukrainians in the interests of Russia.

First of all, it concerned the presentation of distorted information about the internal situation in our country and its perception in the international arena.

In this regard, in early February 2022, the National Security and Defense Council imposed sanctions on Muraiev's TV channel.

After lengthy independent examinations initiated by the Security Service of Ukraine, the facts of the defendant's criminal activity against the state security of Ukraine have now been finally confirmed.

Comprehensive measures are under way to establish all the circumstances of the crimes. The offender faces up to 15 years in prison.

In the fall of 2022, the SBU conducted a series of searches at Muraiev's residences and offices.

During the investigative actions at the defendant's addresses, they found cash in Russian rubles, weapons, as well as computer equipment and mobile phones with evidence of illegal actions.

The investigation was conducted under the supervision of the Prosecutor General's Office.

Нагадаємо, восени 2022 року співробітники СБУ провели серію обшуків за місцями проживання та в офісах Мураєва.
