According to the investigation, the detained FSB agent was a local resident who came to the attention of the Russian special service in the early 'zeroes. Back then, he often traveled to Russia on his own business.

To "convince" its intentions, the Russian secret service even issued its resident a so-called "pass" for unimpeded movement through the territory of the aggressor country.

Even before the full-scale invasion of Russia, he returned to Ukraine and got a job with a private security firm in Kherson.

After February 24, 2022, he was contacted remotely by a representative of the FSB and assigned the main tasks in the war against Ukraine.

During the searches, the traitor's means of communication through which he contacted the aggressor were found.

The offender is in custody. He faces life imprisonment.
