He wrote poetry, songs, and music, and created the rock band VYRIY, which released the album "The Edge of Dreams" in 2018.

During the full-scale war, Danylo joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He served in the military unit A4883.

"A powerful intellectual, a promising scientist, an original poet, an original and talented musician, a promoter of a healthy lifestyle, a selfless patriot. He was also a grateful son, a wonderful brother, a loving husband and father, a reliable friend, a modest young man, and an outstanding creative personality. I knew him for more than 20 years and sincerely admired him. For some time I served with him in the same unit," wrote his comrade Yevhen Luniak.

The officer was buried in his hometown.

Danylo is survived by his mother, wife, daughter, family and friends.

SBU neutralizes gang of "werewolves" who robbed Kharkiv residents under the guise of SBU officers

The SBU Main Directorate of Internal Security neutralized an organized criminal group that terrorized citizens and committed robberies in Kharkiv.

Posing as SBU officers, the armed criminals broke into the homes of local residents and looted their property under the guise of conducting fictitious "searches".

It is documented that in early July this year, the gang members robbed the apartment of a Kharkiv couple and took away gold jewelry worth over USD 20 thousand. THE GANG MEMBERS WERE ARRESTED.

But this was not enough for the group leader, and he demanded another $5,000 from the man, allegedly to "close" the criminal proceedings against him.

In case of non-payment of money, the offender threatened physical violence against the victim's relatives.

The SBU officers detained the gang organizer red-handed while he was transferring the entire amount of the "tribute" from the victim.

According to the investigation, the main suspect was a 33-year-old local resident who had previously been convicted of serious crimes.

During the search, SBU officers seized his uniform with SBU insignia and a TT combat pistol with ammunition.

Based on the collected evidence, the detainee was served a notice of suspicion under Part 4 Art. 189 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (extortion committed under martial law).

He is currently in custody.

The investigation is ongoing to bring all the gang members to justice. The criminals face up to 12 years in prison.

The operation was conducted jointly with the National Police under the supervision of the Specialized Defense Prosecutor's Office of the Eastern Region.

Задокументовано, що на початку липня цього року учасники банди здійснили розбій на помешкання харківського подружжя та відібрали золоті прикраси на загальну суму понад 20 тис. дол. США.

Але цього лідеру угруповання виявилось замало і він почав вимагати у чоловіка ще 5 тис. дол. нібито для «закриття» кримінального провадження проти нього.

У разі несплати грошей зловмисник погрожував фізичним насильством щодо близьких потерпілого.

Співробітники СБУ затримали організатора банди «на гарячому» під час передачі йому всієї суми «данини» від потерпілого.

За даними слідства, головним фігурантом виявився 33-річний місцевий житель, який раніше неодноразово був засуджений за вчинення тяжких злочинів.

При обшуку в нього вилучено спецодяг зі знаками розрізнення СБУ, а також бойовий пістолет ТТ з боєкомплектом.

На підставі зібраних доказів затриманому повідомлено про підозру за ч. 4 ст. 189 Кримінального кодексу України (вимагання, вчинене в умовах воєнного стану).

Наразі він під вартою.

Триває розслідування для притягнення до відповідальності всіх учасників банди. Зловмисникам загрожує до 12 років тюрми.

Комплексні заходи проводили спільно з Національною поліцією за процесуального керівництва Спеціалізованої прокуратури у сфері оборони Східного регіону.
