Після виходу на пенсію жив у Новогригорівці з дружиною та дітьми, допомагав по господарству. На зиму, коли в селі вже було не так багато роботи, подружжя переселялося в Миколаїв. Дім родини в Новогригорівці згорів під час обстрілів. У Костянтина залишилися дружина, донька та двоє онуків
