In 2023, the soldier fought in the Luhansk region. It was there that he took his last stand.

Merinov is survived by his wife and two-year-old daughter.

У 2023 році боєць воював на Луганщині. Там він і прийняв свій останній бій.

У Мерінова залишилися дружина і дворічна донька.

Today is exactly one year since our close friend and comrade-in-arms Yuriy (Ruf) Dadak died in this war of liberation.

He was a very bright, kind and sincere person. A true patriot, scientist, poet... A true warrior.

Eternal memory to Yuriy and all those who died for the freedom of Ukraine.
