🕯 Senior soldier Serhiy Korobeynyk died on October 31, 2022 in a battle with the enemy near the village of Kurdyumivka in Donetsk region. The warrior was 50 years old.

Serhiy was born and lived in Chernihiv region. He finished school in the village of Valky. Then he studied at vocational school No. 34 in Pryluky. After his military service, he mastered the specialty of an electric and gas welder. For about 18 years he worked at a factory in his specialty. He loved to walk in the woods. In his free time he went fishing and mushroom picking.

Since February 2015, the man participated in the ATO/JFO in Donbas in the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He fought in different brigades, visited all the hot spots of the front.

During the full-scale Russian invasion, Serhiy defended Ukraine as a member of the 30th Separate Mechanized Brigade named after Prince Kostiantyn Ostrozkyi. He was a squad leader of a machine gun platoon.

"My brother is a true hero. He always remained true to his ideals, his beliefs, his commitments. I am proud that Serhiy is my brother," said Maryna Korobeynyk.

The soldier was buried in his native village of Borshna in Chernihiv region.

On January 20, 2023, a memorial plaque in honor of Serhii Korobeynyk was unveiled on the walls of the Valky secondary school.

The defender is survived by his parents, brother and sister.

З лютого 2015 року чоловік брав участь в АТО/ООС на Донбасі у лавах Збройних сил України. Воював у різних бригадах, побував у всіх гарячих точках фронту.

Під час повномасштабного російського вторгнення Сергій захищав Україну у складі 30-ї окремої механізованої бригади імені князя Костянтина Острозького. Був командиром відділення кулеметного взводу.

«Мій брат – справжній Герой. Він завжди залишався вірним своїм ідеалам, своїм переконанням, своїм зобов‘язанням . Я пишаюсь тим, що Сергій – мій брат», – розповіла Марина Коробейник.

Поховали військовослужбовця в рідному селі Боршна на Чернігівщині.

20 січня 2023 року на стінах Валківської загальноосвітньої школи І-ІІ ступенів в відкриили Меморіальну дошку на честь Сергія Коробейника.

У захисника залишилися батьки, брат і сестра.

After February 24 last year, he took part in hostilities against Ukrainian troops in the Bakhmut sector, where he was captured.

Another criminal - in 2016, he joined the so-called "state security service of the lPR".

At the beginning of the full-scale aggression, he was "transferred" to the 2nd Army Corps of the Russian Federation, where he commanded the shelling of Severodonetsk and Lysychansk.

When he tried to gain a foothold in the area of Bilohorivka in Luhansk region, he was captured by the Ukrainian military along with his subordinates.

Based on the evidence collected, the court found both perpetrators guilty under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:
▪️ Part 2, Article 110 (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine);

На початку повномасштабної агресії його «перевели» до лав 2-го армійського корпусу зс рф, де командував обстрілами Сєвєродонецька та Лисичанська.

При спробі закріпитися в районі Білогорівки на Луганщині був захоплений українськими військовими у полон разом із підлеглими.

На підставі зібраних доказів суд визнав обох зловмисників винними за двома статтями Кримінального кодексу України:
▪️ ч. 2 ст. 110 (посягання на територіальну цілісність і недоторканність України);
▪️ ч. 2 ст. 260 (участь у не передбачених законом воєнізованих або збройних формуваннях).

Досудове розслідування проводили слідчі СБУ Донецької та Луганської областей за процесуального керівництва Луганської обласної прокуратури.
