Based on the SBU evidence, two more agents of Russian military intelligence (better known as "game"), who adjusted enemy fire on the defenders of Donetsk region, received real sentences.

As the investigation revealed, the offenders were tracking the geolocation of Ukrainian troops in the Pokrovsk sector for the occupiers. The enemy was most interested in the coordinates of fortifications, air defense systems, artillery positions and logistics warehouses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The enemy used the intelligence to prepare combat operations using guided aerial bombs, drones and missile weapons.

For example, one of the agents, on behalf of her supervisor, tried to identify the positions of Ukrainian electronic warfare units, which the Russians planned to target with a precision air strike.

She later went to Dnipropetrovs'k region, where she hoped to "get lost" from justice, but was soon detained by the Security Service.

The court sentenced her to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property.

Another agent was acting as an employee of the Russian special operations center Senezh. Under his instructions, the woman spied on the movement of the Defense Forces' armored vehicles toward the eastern front.

SBU CI officers detained the offender in February 2024 at her place of residence. Taking into account her cooperation with the investigation, the court sentenced her to 13 years in prison with confiscation of property.

In accordance with the crimes committed, both agents were found guilty under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:

▪️ part 2, article 111 (high treason committed under martial law);
▪️ part 7 of Article 111-1 (collaboration).

The investigation was conducted by SBU officers in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the supervision of the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor's Office.

SBU CI prevented a new terrorist attack in the frontline city of Dnipro. As a result of complex measures, the SBU detained a Russian agent who was preparing an explosion near the administrative building of a law enforcement agency in the city center.

The investigation established that the order of Russia was executed by a 29-year-old drug addict from Vinnytsia, who came to the attention of the occupiers when she was looking for "easy money" in Telegram.

After the woman was recruited, Russian special services "sent" her to Pavlohrad in the Dnipro region. There, she took an improvised explosive device (IED) from a cache on the instructions of her supervisor.

Later, the suspect received a new task: to arrive in Dnipro, settle in a rented apartment and conduct reconnaissance near the law enforcement building where the racists planned to blow it up.

At the same time, the agent found a "convenient" location for a cache near the site of the planned attack, where she hid the IED and passed the coordinates to the curator.

Then, the direct perpetrator of the attack was to take the explosives from the cache, plant them near a government agency and activate them.

The SBU officers were proactive - they seized the IED from the cache and neutralized it, and then detained the suspect on her attempt to escape from the city.

The detention took place at a checkpoint, through which the agent was trying to travel by bus in the direction of Odesa, where she planned to "lay low".

SBU investigators served her a notice of suspicion under Part 1 of Article 14, Part 2 of Article 258 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (preparation to commit a terrorist act committed by prior conspiracy by a group of persons).

The offender is in custody. She faces up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.

The operation was conducted by SBU officers in Dnipro region under the procedural supervision of the Regional Prosecutor's Office.

The SBU Military Counterintelligence exposed another attempt of Russian military intelligence infiltration (better known as "gru") into the Ukrainian Defense Forces.

As a result of proactive actions in Dnipro region, a mobilized to the combat brigade of the State Special Transport Service of the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, who was working for the enemy, was detained.

The detention took place at the stage when the suspect was undergoing general military training at a training ground.

The investigation revealed that the military was recruited by the occupiers immediately after mobilization to the relevant unit. He came to the attention of Russia's GRU because of his pro-Russian comments on social media.

The main task of the agent was to adjust Russian air attacks on the Defense Forces in Dnipropetrovs'k region.

It is documented that the defendant "leaked" to the Russian special service the geolocation of the military unit where he was undergoing military training.

Then the agent began to collect coordinates of adjacent units of the Defense Forces, on which the occupiers planned to launch missile strikes.

The agent sent the collected intelligence via messenger to the curator in the form of marks on Google maps with a detailed description of potential "targets".

The SBU Military Counterintelligence exposed the mole in advance, documented his contacts with the Russian game and detained him. During the special operation, measures were taken to secure the locations of the Defense Forces in the area of enemy intelligence activity.

During the search, a phone with evidence of working for the enemy was seized from the detainee.

The SBU investigators in Dnipropetrovs'k region served him a notice of suspicion under Part 2 Article 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law).

The offender is in custody without the right to be released on bail. He faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.

The operation was conducted under the supervision of the Dnipro Specialized Defense Prosecutor's Office of the Eastern Region.

At the very beginning of the Russian aggression, he fought in Luhansk and Donetsk regions as part of the Right Sector, and later joined the Aidar battalion. In total, he served for three years. After returning home, he went to work at the Burshtyn thermal power plant, got married, and became the father of a wonderful daughter.

Nazariy's last job was at the security department of the Kremenchuk Oil Refinery. And in March 2022, the man again defended his country.

For two years, he served in the 15th Separate Airborne Brigade, taking part in battles in Kharkiv and Donetsk regions. Then he was assigned to the 5th Assault Brigade, a reconnaissance company.

Unfortunately, on August 6, 2024, while performing a combat mission near the village of Ivanivske, Bakhmut district, Nazariy Bakai was killed...
