While performing a combat mission near Avdiivka, Donetsk region, he and his group fell into an enemy trap. To save the lives of his comrades, he gave the order to retreat, and he remained in position to the last and repelled the enemy attack, as a result of which he was killed on January 29, 2024. Now he is 22 forever.

The soldier was awarded the title of "Hero of Ukraine" and the Order of the Golden Star (posthumously).
