SBU officers exposed the suspect when he went to perform a new task from his supervisor - to record the consequences of a recent enemy "arrival" in Kyiv region.

The SBU also took measures to secure the locations of the Defense Forces.

During the searches, the SBU seized a smartphone with geolocations, photos and other "reporting" materials that the offender had prepared for the occupiers.

The SBU investigators served him a notice of suspicion under Part 2 Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law).

The offender is in custody without the right to be released on bail. He faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.

The operation was conducted by the SBU Office in Cherkasy region under the procedural supervision of the Regional Prosecutor's Office.
