According to the investigation, the order of the occupiers was carried out by two 22-year-old local unemployed people who were looking for "easy money" in Telegram channels. They were approached by an FSB officer and offered "quick money" in exchange for cooperation.

To commit the crimes, the agents used flammable mixtures, then recorded the fires on their phones, and sent the video to the FSB supervisor.

During the searches, the offenders were found to have arson tools and other evidence of working for the enemy.

Based on the evidence collected by SBU investigators, the agents were found guilty under Part 2 of Art. 28, Part 2 of Art. 113 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (sabotage committed by a group of persons under martial law).

Taking into account the cooperation with the investigation, the court sentenced the criminals to 9 years of imprisonment with confiscation of property.

Now, based on additional evidence and expert opinions, the SBU has served Dmitry Kiselyov a new suspicion in absentia under four articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine:

▪ Part 3 of Article 109 (actions aimed at the violent change or overthrow of the constitutional order or the seizure of state power, committed with the use of mass media)
▪ Art. 110(3) (encroachment on the territorial integrity and inviolability of Ukraine, which resulted in the death of people or other grave consequences);
▪ Art. 436 (propaganda of war);
▪ Part 3 of Article 436-2 (justification, recognition of the legitimacy, denial of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, glorification of its participants).

Since the offender is hiding in Russia, comprehensive measures are being taken to bring him to justice for crimes against our country.
