The SBU and the National Police conducted a series of special operations that resulted in the detention of 25 drug trafficking organizers in different regions of Ukraine. 🔹 Thus, in Zhytomyr region, a drug lab that manufactured psychotropic drugs on an industrial scale was liquidated. The dealers set up an underground "workshop" on the territory of a private household in the city of Zvyagel.

▪ Part 2 of Art. 320 (violation of the established rules of circulation of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances, their analogues or precursors).

The offenders face up to 12 years in prison with confiscation of property.

Cryptocurrency played a key role in "disguising" drug trafficking, as it was used to pay for the "goods". Drugs were distributed through bookmarks, under the guise of intimate goods, using logistics companies and fake data. The products were distributed throughout Ukraine.

Thanks to the coordinated and professional work of hundreds of law enforcement officers, it was possible to eliminate not just individual cells, but an entire criminal infrastructure with a clear hierarchy, logistics and "profits" worth billions.

We discussed this painful truth with Mykola Melnyk, an analyst, senior lieutenant of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, holder of the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytsky. As political scientist Kateryna Odarchenko aptly notes in her blog:

"While Ukraine is waging a grueling war, and each tax literally equals a human life, the country loses billions every year due to offshores, tax loopholes and the lack of real reform. ... while the state tightens control over small businesses and puts pressure on individual entrepreneurs, large corporations continue to "optimize" profits outside Ukraine - often with complete impunity."

Mykola Melnyk, who saw the war with his own eyes, confirms that the economy of a country at war should be subordinated to the war. But veterans returning to civilian life face absurd bureaucratic barriers, even to get a government business grant.

The most outrageous is the inaction of law enforcement agencies. Where are the SBU, the DBR, the police when it comes to billion-dollar offshore deals?

"In Ukraine, a veteran can be checked for any grant, for 250 thousand hryvnias, but no one is interested in withdrawing millions of dollars abroad. Why? Because these people are part of the system," says Melnyk.

When large companies that make money in Ukraine (such as OKKO, according to investigations into their Cyprus schemes) withdraw capital instead of paying taxes at home, it is not just "optimization."

"When a business that is supposed to help the army buys real estate in Cyprus, it is no longer a business. This is sabotage," emphasizes Melnyk.

It seems that the new tax reform only increases the pressure on those who work in the shadows without access to an army of lawyers and offshore companies. This is not support for the economy - it is its blocking, fiscal injustice.

The issue is not just about money. It is about trust, justice and the ability of the state to protect its interests. Can we win the war if our economy continues to work for offshore companies rather than for those who give their lives for it?

SBU detains Russian agent who corrected Russian air attacks on military hospitals in Poltava region

The Security Service of Ukraine detained another agent of Russian military intelligence (better known as a game) in Poltava region.

According to the case file, the offender collected coordinates of military hospitals and other medical facilities where wounded Ukrainian soldiers were treated and rehabilitated.

The investigation revealed that the agent was a 36-year-old local unemployed man who supported racism on Telegram channels.

Following the instructions of the Russian game master, the agent "in the dark" found out information about medical facilities of the Defense Forces from his friends, and then went to the area to verify the collected data.

While preparing enemy attacks, the agent additionally tried to calculate the combat positions and patrol routes of mobile air defense fire groups protecting the airspace of the region.

The SBU CI exposed the traitor, documented his crimes and detained him at his place of residence.

The Security Service also proactively took comprehensive measures to secure the locations of the Defense Forces.

During the searches, the SBU seized the detainee's cell phone and SIM cards, which he periodically changed to conceal communication with the occupiers.

The SBU investigators served the agent a notice of suspicion under Part 2 Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law).

The offender is in custody. He faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.

The operation was conducted by the SBU Office in Poltava region under the procedural supervision of the Regional Prosecutor's Office.
