SBU CI detained two more FSB agents in Dnipro and Kramatorsk. They were reconnoitering coordinates for new series of Russian missile and drone strikes on frontline cities.

According to the case file, the main targets of the enemy were the points of concentration of Ukrainian troops participating in the fighting on the front line.

The occupiers were also interested in the geolocation of the combat positions of Ukrainian artillery, which keeps under fire control the occupiers' assault groups in the Kramatorsk direction.

To get the coordinates for targeting, the FSB remotely recruited two local unemployed people: one from Dnipro and the other from Kramatorsk.

Both suspects were looking for "easy money" in Telegram channels, where they later came to the attention of the Russian secret service.

The agents acted separately, but had one FSB supervisor who instructed them to go out and look for locations of the Defense Forces.

If the "right" objects were found, the traitors recorded their location and prepared the coordinates for sending them to the Russian secret service.

The investigation revealed that the enemy agent was a former employee of the Rivne Nuclear Power Plant. The man had resigned from the secure facility before the outbreak of full-scale war.

However, in the spring of 2025, a "liaison" of the Russian military intelligence from the Moscow region contacted him on his messenger and offered cooperation in exchange for money.

After being recruited, the agent received detailed instructions from the Russian secret service to carry out an enemy task.

In order to approach the power line pole unnoticed and install a GPS tracker on it, the agent first reconnoitered the locations of Ukrainian troops guarding the local nuclear power plant.

After that, he covertly made his way to the "target" through open countryside, and once there, he tried to activate the tracking module. At that moment, he was detained by SBU counterintelligence officers.

At the scene, the SBU seized the detainee's cell phone, which he used to contact the Russian game.
