The convicts were residents of the temporarily occupied districts of Donetsk and Luhansk regions who voluntarily joined the ranks of Russia's Southern Military District.

Three of them are residents of Donetsk region who, as part of the 91st rifle regiment of the Russian Federation, participated in the seizure of the left bank of Kherson region. There, they set up firing positions and evacuated wounded racists from the battlefield.

Subsequently, the traitors stormed the villages of Mykilske and Novoukrainka, and during a fierce battle near Kurakhove were captured.

SBU Military Counterintelligence detained another FSB agent in Odesa. She was preparing coordinates for new Russian missile and drone strikes on the city, and to avoid justice, she was planning to flee to Russia.

On the instructions of the enemy, the suspect was to adjust the air attack on the locations of the Ukrainian marines.

The occupiers also hoped to obtain the coordinates of the temporary location of Ukrainian border guards and police officers performing tasks on the southern front.

As the investigation revealed, the adjustment was carried out by a 39-year-old local unemployed woman who was waiting for the occupation of Odesa. She wrote about this in comments under pro-Kremlin publications in Telegram channels.

There, she came to the attention of the FSB and, after being recruited remotely, began collecting the geolocations of the Defense Forces.

To conceal her reconnaissance missions, the agent would go for a walk with her 6-year-old son and take pictures of potential targets' buildings and mark their coordinates on Google maps.

After the "walks" with the child, the woman would summarize the intelligence report and prepare to hand it over to her Russian supervisor.

After completing the enemy's tasks, the occupiers promised their accomplice "evacuation" to Russia through third countries with further employment in the aggressor country.

The SBU Military Counterintelligence thwarted the plans of the agent and her Russian handlers. The offender was exposed at the initial stage of her intelligence activities, documented and detained in her own home.

During the search, SBU officers seized her phone and tablet with anonymous chats in the messenger, which she used to contact the FSB.

The SBU investigators served the detainee a notice of suspicion under Part 2 Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law).
The offender is in custody. She faces life imprisonment with confiscation of property.

The operation was conducted under the supervision of the Odesa Region Prosecutor's Office.
