SBU CI detained another enemy informant during counter-sabotage operations in Donetsk region.

The offender was a resident of Pokrovsk district, who created his own Telegram channel after the beginning of the full-scale Russian invasion.

On this resource, he posted electronic maps with markings of the locations of the Ukrainian Armed Forces' units in the Avdiivka sector.

He collected the relevant information on his own initiative during field visits, where he covertly recorded the locations of Ukrainian defenders.

He also published information about the consequences of Russian air strikes on the territory of the district.

In these messages, he "highlighted" the coordinates of the affected Ukrainian objects with reference to the area.

It was established that among the main users of the Internet resource were militants of the occupation groups and representatives of the Russian special services involved in hostilities against the Defense Forces on the eastern front.

In addition, the defendant used his own Telegram channel to spread fakes of Kremlin propaganda about the socio-political situation in the region.

Based on the collected evidence, the SBU investigators served the detainee a notice of suspicion under Part 2 Art. 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (unauthorized dissemination of information on the sending, movement of weapons, armaments and ammunition to Ukraine, movement, relocation or deployment of the Armed Forces of Ukraine under martial law).

He is currently in custody. The investigation is ongoing to establish all the circumstances of the crime. The offender faces up to 8 years in prison.

The operation was conducted by the SBU officers in Donetsk and Luhansk regions under the procedural supervision of the Donetsk Region Prosecutor's Office.

Встановлено, що серед основних користувачів інтернет-ресурсу були бойовики окупаційних угруповань і представники спецслужб рф, які беруть участь у бойових діях проти Сил оборони на східному фронті.

Крім того, фігурант використовував власний Телеграм-канал для поширення фейків кремлівської пропаганди щодо суспільно-політичної ситуації в регіоні.

На підставі зібраних доказів слідчі Служби безпеки повідомили затриманому про підозру за ч. 2 ст. 114-2 Кримінального кодексу України (несанкціоноване поширення інформації про направлення, переміщення зброї, озброєння та бойових припасів в Україну, рух, переміщення або розміщення Збройних Сил України в умовах воєнного стану).

Наразі він під вартою. Триває розслідування для встановлення всіх обставин злочину. Зловмиснику загрожує до 8 років тюрми.

Комплексні заходи проводили співробітники СБУ в Донецькій та Луганській областях за процесуального керівництва Донецької обласної прокуратури.

I love him, I miss him, I want people to remember the price of our freedom... I miss him very much. He was my universe, my friend. I loved to do everything with him and now I have lost a very strong support... But I think he is now my protector from heaven He was very brave, he could always make me laugh, his eyes pierced me to the core. I loved everything about him. He was a man with whom you could go into life, into reconnaissance, into battle. My beloved, you are in my heart forever...
