3. Banks and exchange offices have been informed that they have no right to refuse to exchange currency or to charge additional fees for doing so. In case of violation, such actions will be regarded as non-compliance with the NBU's regulatory requirements and as a potential sign of fraud. For such actions, the NBU will impose significant fines of up to UAH 400,000 for banks, which will soon be increased for significant violations, and up to 5% of the institution's equity capital for non-banks.

4. Banknotes of previous years of issue are valid and can be exchanged at any time.

🇨🇭🇺🇦 Низка видань повідомляла про нібито затримання у Швейцарії українця з дипломатичним статусом при спробі здійснення фіноперацій по депозитних рахунках колишнього Credit Suisse.

У Міністерстві закордонних справ України це спростували. Пресслужба МЗС у коментарі «Бабелю» повідомила, що всі українські дипломати, які працюють у Швейцарії, на місці і штатно виконують свої обов’язки. На звернення української сторони швейцарська федеральна поліція відповіла, що їй взагалі не відомо про будь-які затримання українських громадян.

Посол України у Швецарії зараз ексгенпрокурор Ірина Венедіктова. На сайті посольства жодних коментарів щодо цієї ситуації немає.
