Ситуація – надзвичайно важка. Російські війська не припиняють артилерійські удари саме по тій території, де здійснюється евакуація людей. На жаль, є поранені від цих терористичних обстрілів.

На окупованій частині території, де затоплено близько десятка населених пунктів, взагалі не здійснюється евакуація. Люди другу добу – на дахах, у водяній пастці, без питної води, без їжі та медичної допомоги. Скільки там загиблих та постраждалих – ми поки що не знаємо.

Усе це, із чим ми зіткнулися, є свідомим злочином окупанта. Багато питань про те, що сталося. Але це сталося на окупованій території. Але ми ще минулого року попереджали про мінування окупантами дамби та інших споруд станції. Але російські війська зараз обстрілюють райони, де триває евакуація. Очевидно, що це саме Росія зацікавлена в катастрофі».

Спілкування Президента України Володимира Зеленського зі світовими екоактивістами, лідерами думок та міжнародними експертами щодо наслідків підриву окупантами дамби Каховської ГЕС.

У зустрічі взяли участь понад 30 світових політичних та громадських діячів, зокрема віце-спікер Європейського парламенту Гайді Хаутала, екоактивіст Грета Тунберг, екс-віце-прем’єр-міністр та екс-міністр закордонних справ Швеції Маргот Вальстрем, Президент Ірландії у 1990-1997 роках Мері Робінсон, а також екологічні активісти та журналісти, що висвітлюють екологічну тематику.
