The official involved his acquaintance in the illegal activity as an intermediary for the transfer of the bribe.

SBU and DBR officers detained the prosecutor and the intermediary red-handed in Kharkiv, while they were transferring the entire amount of the bribe.

They have been served a notice of suspicion under Part 4 of Art. 368 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (acceptance of an offer, promise or receipt of an unlawful benefit by an official). The issue of choosing a type of detention is being decided.
