The SBU collected irrefutable evidence of the guilt of another Russian agent who passed the locations of the Defense Forces in Kharkiv region to the occupiers.

First of all, the offender "leaked" to the enemy information about the location of the combat positions of Ukrainian Grad multiple rocket launchers.

The invaders used the obtained coordinates to prepare targeted missile and artillery strikes.

SBU officers detained the offender in the course of counter-intelligence operations in Kharkiv at the end of March last year.

The court sentenced him to 15 years in prison based on the materials of the Ukrainian special service.

According to the investigation, the offender is a resident of Luhansk region who, at the beginning of the full-scale invasion, on his own initiative, contacted two Russian soldiers with call signs "Yasha" and "Ural".

During the remote "communication" he offered the occupiers his assistance in the war against Ukraine.

The traitor used his acquaintances to gather intelligence in the dark. In addition, he engaged his wife to process media files with the coordinates of Ukrainian facilities.

The offender sent all the information to the occupiers via the Telegram messenger in the form of marks on the Google map.

Based on the evidence collected by the SBU investigators, the court found him guilty under Part 2 of Art. 111 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (high treason committed under martial law).

The SBU emphasizes the inevitability of punishment for crimes against our state.

The investigation was conducted by SBU officers in Kharkiv region under the procedural supervision of the Regional Prosecutor's Office.

Усю отриману інформацію зловмисник надсилав окупантам через месенджер Телеграм у вигляді відміток на Гугл-карті.

На підставі зібраних слідчими СБУ доказів суд визнав його винним за ч. 2 ст. 111 Кримінального кодексу України (державна зрада, вчинена в умовах воєнного стану).

Служба безпеки наголошує на невідворотності покарання за злочини проти нашої держави.

Розслідування проводили співробітники СБУ в Харківській області за процесуального керівництва обласної прокуратури.
