Служба безпеки системно притягує до відповідальності зрадників і колаборантів, які брали участь у репресіях проти мирних жителів тимчасово окупованих районів України.

У результаті комплексних заходів зібрано беззаперечні докази вини на колишнього охоронця російської катівні, яка діяла під час тимчасової окупації Херсона.

При звільненні міста зловмисник вирішив втекти до Одеси, де намагався «залягти на дно» і тим самим уникнути правосуддя.

Втім, співробітники СБУ встановили його місцезнаходження і затримали.

Враховуючи співпрацю зі слідством, суд призначив йому 8 років увʼязнення з позбавленням права займати будь-які посади в правоохоронних органах строком на 10 років та конфіскацією майна.

За даними слідства, злочинцем є колишній посадовець Державної установи «Північна виправна колонія (№90)» у Херсоні, який після захоплення міста пішов на співпрацю з ворогом.

За це йому запропонували «посаду» у лавах створеної агресором «виправної установи».

Зловмисник погодився на «пропозицію» і добровільно написав «заяву» на вступ до окупаційного органу.

Там його призначили до складу підрозділу охорони російського режимного об’єкта, до якого рашисти незаконно звозили репресованих місцевих жителів.

Більшість з потерпілих були учасниками руху опору.

У застінках окупанти катували українських громадян і намагалися «вибити» з них згоду на співпрацю з ворогом.

При цьому сам колаборант допомагав агресору охороняти «камери» та «периметр» російської катівні.

На підставі отриманих матеріалів суд визнав зловмисника винним за ч. 7 ст. 111-1 Кримінального кодексу Україну (колабораційна діяльність).

Розслідування проводили співробітники СБУ в Одеській області за процесуального керівництва обласної прокуратури.
