Turkey begins process of ratification of Finland's membership in NATO

The Anadolu Agency reported this, citing a statement by Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan.

According to Erdogan, Turkey can hold a parliamentary vote on the ratification of Finland's NATO membership before national elections in the republic, scheduled for May 14.

The Turkish president added that negotiations with Sweden on NATO membership would continue.

Hungary, following Turkey, will also ratify Finland's membership in NATO.

This was announced by the head of the Fidesz faction, Mate Kocsis.

"We will postpone the parliamentary vote on this issue until March 27, when we will vote unanimously in favor," Kocsis wrote.

Турция начинает процесс ратификации членства Финляндии в НАТО

Об этом сообщает Anadolu Agency со ссылкой на заявление президента Турции Реджепа Тайипа Эрдогана.

По словам Эрдогана, Турция может провести голосование в парламенте по ратификации членства Финляндии в НАТО до общенациональных выборов в республике, намеченных на 14 мая.

При этом президент Турции добавил, что переговоры со Швецией по поводу членства в НАТО будут продолжаться.

Венгрия вслед за Турцией также ратифицирует вступление Финляндии в НАТО.

Об этом сообщил руководитель фракции «Фидес» Мате Кочиш.

«Мы перенесем голосование в парламенте по этому вопросу на 27 марта, когда проголосуем единогласно «за», - написал Кочиш.
