Oleksandr Matsievskyi was called up for military service in March 2022. Since the end of December, he was reported missing near the village of Krasna Hora in Donetsk region.

As the SBU managed to establish, Oleksandr Matsievskyi was shot dead on December 30, 2022. His body was returned home in February 2023.

The SBU is currently taking comprehensive measures to identify the Russian military personnel who committed this crime. The pre-trial investigation is being conducted under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war).

Олександр Мацієвський був призваний на військову службу у березні 2022 року. З кінця грудня він вважався зниклим безвісти поблизу населеного пункту Красна Гора в Донецькій області.

Як вдалося встановити СБУ, Олександра Мацієвського розстріляли 30 грудня 2022 року. Його тіло повернули додому в лютому 2023 року.

It is Oleksandr Matsiyevsky, a sniper with the 163rd Battalion of the 119th Separate Tank Brigade in Chernihiv Oblast.

The SBU received a forensic portrait examination, which confirmed that the soldier in the video was Oleksandr Matsiyevskyi.

Matzievsky was called up for military service in March 2022. Since the end of December, he had been missing near the village of Krasna Hora in Donetsk Oblast. The SBU established that he was shot dead on December 30, 2022. His body was returned home in February 2023.

The SBU is looking for those responsible for the crime as part of an ongoing investigation under the article on violation of the laws and customs of war. This crime is punishable by 8 years in prison or life imprisonment.

По прогнозу Жданова, в этом случае российскому командованию придется снимать войска с Луганского и Донецкого направлений, чтоб не допустить прорыва наших войск на Азовское побережье.
