One of the main goals of his reconnaissance and subversive activity was to detect probable combat positions of the Air Defense of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the eastern direction.

The occupants used the obtained information to prepare and carry out targeted missile attacks on Ukrainian targets.

According to the investigation, the detainee is a resident of Saltivskyi residential area - one of the most affected by hostile shelling districts of Kharkiv.

This summer he began to look for ways to "reach" the invaders through social networks to help in the war against Ukraine. For this purpose, he posted in social networks information about the places of temporary basing of the units of the Defence Forces.

It was established that after the offender published the forbidden information, the "disclosed" positions of Ukrainian air defense were subjected to targeted attacks by the enemy five times.

SBU investigators served him a notice of suspicion under Part 2 Art. 114-2 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (unauthorized dissemination of information on the location of the Armed Forces of Ukraine).

The court imposed on him custody as a measure of restraint.

The operation was conducted by the SBU officers in Kharkiv region under the procedural supervision of the Regional Prosecutor's Office.

Встановлено, що, після того як зловмисник опублікував заборонену інформацію, «розкриті» позиції української ППО п'ять разів піддавалися прицільним обстрілам з боку ворога.

Наразі слідчі Служби безпеки повідомили йому про підозру за ч. 2 ст. 114-2 (несанкціоноване поширення інформації про розташування Збройних Сил України) Кримінального кодексу України.

Суд обрав запобіжний захід у вигляді тримання під вартою.

Заходи із викриття злочину проводили співробітники СБУ Харківської області за процесуального керівництва обласної прокуратури.

According to the investigation, the detainee is a resident of Zhdanivka, Donetsk region, who in 2014 voluntarily joined the illegal armed groups controlled by the aggressor country. Subsequently, he received a "passport" of the local occupation administration.

At the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the traitor was "seconded" to the 3rd rifle platoon of the 1st company of the 5th battalion of the 109th regiment of the "people's militia of the "dnr".

There he took an active part in hostilities against the Defense Forces in the Kherson direction.

In addition, the facts of his shooting at civilians, from whom he wanted to extract a confession of alleged involvement in Ukrainian guerrillas or subversive groups, were established.

The investigation is ongoing in the framework of criminal proceedings under Part 2 Art. 111 (high treason committed under martial law) and Part 1 Art. 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine to bring the perpetrator to justice.

The operation was conducted by officers of the SBU Main Directorate of Internal Security jointly with investigators of the SBU Security Service in Dnipropetrovsk region under the procedural supervision of the Prosecutor's Office of Dnipropetrovsk region.
