SBU investigators opened two criminal proceedings over the shelling of the Ukrainian capital on October 17.

One of the proceedings concerns the shelling of a residential building, the other - the energy infrastructure of Ukraine.

Both proceedings were opened under Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine (violation of the laws and customs of war).

All persons involved in another Russian atrocities are being identified, a set of investigative and operative actions is being conducted to bring the perpetrators to justice.

The investigation is conducted by the SBU Office in Kyiv and Kyiv region.
