The Security Service of Ukraine is investigating another war crime of Russian troops, who recently shot a civilian convoy in the so-called "gray zone" between the occupied Svatove, Luhansk region, and the liberated Kupiansk, Kharkiv region. This was reported by the acting Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasyl Malyuk.

The SBU officers under the procedural supervision of the Kharkiv Regional Prosecutor's Office are investigating this war crime under Part 2 Art. 438 (violation of the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder) of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.

"At the end of September, the Rashists completely destroyed a convoy of seven vehicles. At least 20 people were killed, including 10 children. A sabotage and reconnaissance group of occupants committed a brutal attack on civilians - they shot six old cars and one GAZelle truck with small arms almost at close range. The enemy once again proved that its goal is to destroy all Ukrainians, regardless of age and gender. The occupiers are defeated on the battlefield and out of desperation respond to them by killing civilians. But the racists will not escape punishment - we will find everyone and make them answer for their atrocities," Vasyl Malyuk said.

The final number of victims is currently being established, relevant examinations are being conducted. Several people managed to escape from hell, now they are giving evidence to investigators.

Currently, the identities of the citizens killed by Russians are being established, comprehensive documentation and collection of evidence of this crime for the International Criminal Court continues.

The SBU is also doing everything possible to identify the persons involved in the murder of civilians.

Such crimes have no statute of limitations, the perpetrators will be held accountable for their actions.

Та рашисти не уникнуть покарання – ми знайдемо кожного і змуcимо відповідати за вчинені звірства», - заявив Василь Малюк.

Остаточна кількість жертв наразі встановлюється, проводяться відповідні експертизи. Декільком людям вдалося врятуватися з пекла, зараз вони дають свідчення слідчим.

Наразі встановлюються особи убитих росіянами громадян, триває всебічне документування та збір доказів цього злочину для Міжнародного кримінального суду.

Також СБУ робить все можливе для встановлення осіб, причетних до вбивства мирних громадян.

Строків давності такі злочини не мають, винні обов’язково відповідатимуть за скоєне.

На тимчасово захопленій території України російська окупаційна влада активізувала заходи щодо примусової мобілізації. Для своєчасного виконання мобілізаційних заходів та придушення спротиву місцевого населення до міст Бердянськ та Мелітополь прибули додаткові підрозділи росгвардії.

За добу Сил оборони України відбили атаки противника в районах 5 населених пунктів.

Підтверджено ураження опорного пункту противника, 17 районів зосередження озброєння та військової техніки, а також 3 зенітних ракетних комплексів противника. Крім того, наші підрозділи протиповітряної оборони збили один БпЛА.
