"The state is interested that business activity did not decline during the war and the state sector of economy continued to work", - said Mrs. Vladyslava - Today new rules in the sphere of lease of property are in force. In particular, the tenants in the occupied territories, which includes part of our region, were completely exempted from paying rent until the end of 2022. All other lessees of property located in the Zaporizhzhya region were released from payment of rent until June 30. From then on, a 50-hundred-percent discount on the amount of monthly rent payment will be applied".

🔹 Renters should know that there was approved a reduction in the terms of preparation of objects for lease and auctions. The list of innovations also includes reduction of the advance payment and security deposit - now they are paid at the rate of one monthly rent, along with this the budget institutions are released from this payment. "The state is interested that business activity did not decline during the war and the state sector of economy continued to work", - said Mrs. Vladyslava - Today new rules in the sphere of lease of property are in force. In particular, the tenants in the occupied territories, which includes part of our region, were completely exempted from paying rent until the end of 2022. All other lessees of property located in the Zaporizhzhya region were released from payment of rent until June 30. From then on, a 50-hundred-percent discount on the amount of monthly rent payment will be applied".

🔹 Renters should know that there was approved a reduction in the terms of preparation of objects for lease and auctions. The list of innovations also includes reduction of the advance payment and security deposit - now they are paid at the rate of one monthly rent, along with this the budget institutions are released from this payment. In addition, tenants have the opportunity to use an electronic digital signature when entering into contracts.

The SBU established the chronology and details of the Russian diversion of the Pivnichny-Krymsky Canal

The Security Service of Ukraine has established a chronology of the crimes committed by the Russian armed forces against the civilian population at the key residential facilities of the Kherson region: the Kakhovskiy GES and the Pivnichno-Krimskiy Kanal.

Two military servicemen of the Russian Federation were identified, who gave malicious orders.

They are Major General Mikhail Yasnikov, deputy commander of the Russian Black Sea Fleet for material and technical support, and Colonel Dmitriy Markov, commander of the 11th separate engineering brigade. They directly commanded the capture of the Kakhovka GES and the flooding of the Pivnichny-Krymsky Canal.

These activities had a negative impact on the water supply in the region, the functioning of the Kherson region's water distribution system and caused significant damage to the population and material losses to Ukraine, especially in large amounts.

According to the SBU materials, the perpetrators are suspected of violating the laws and customs of war.

In the course of investigative and operational activities, it was established that on 24 February the Russian Armed Forces used important weaponry:

▪️ they took the administrative buildings and structures of the Kakhovka GES and took personnel hostage;
▪️ prevented the operation of the hydroelectric power plant in its regular mode;
▪️ destroyed a highway bridge, depriving the facility of vital logistics;
▪️ lowered the opening of the canal's structures to supply water from the Dnipro to Crimea, which was occupied for the time being.

The SBU investigators discovered that Major General Yasnikov had issued orders to illegally occupy both critical infrastructure facilities. Colonel Markov, on the other hand, was in charge of the warriors.

Currently, the pre-trial investigation into the criminal proceedings initiated under two articles of the Criminal Code of Ukraine has been completed:

▪️ ч. Article 438(1) (violation of laws and customs of war);
▪️ч. 2 art. 28 (committing a criminal offence by a group of persons with a prior agreement).

The indictment was sent to the Zhovtnevyi District Court of the city of Kryvyi Rih.

Efforts to uncover war crimes committed by Russian soldiers were carried out by employees of the SBU Directorate in the Kherson region under the authority of the head of the Kherson regional prosecutor's office.
