Other tactical groups were being prepared for the time being, and this was hindered by a full-scale invasion by the Russians.

Without any hesitation, the Ukrainian SDF, as a single body, joined in the fight against the enemy forces. From the first days of the invasion, our soldiers carried out successful, risky, often catastrophic operations, inflicting irreparable losses on the enemy. The credit for this goes to everyone for whom I was honored to be a commander.

From the first days of total opposition, the Special Operations Forces' lavvies were replenished by the Rukh of Support's soldiers. Their participation in the war against the Russian aggressor is important. This was due to the adoption of two laws of Ukraine No. 5557 and No. 5558. These documents gave us the right and responsibility to create and disband the MTRDF support unit.

International assistance was a great contribution to the fight against the aggressor. Material and technical equipment provided by foreign partners, instructor corps, and universal support for the development of Ukraine's SDF contributed to the fact that our troops were among those found in the fight against the Russian troops.

Together with you, we were able to stop the difficulties. Despite all the obstacles, we continued to do difficult but important work. We have proudly protected our people, and I am sure that the MTR of Ukraine will continue this work in the future. I am grateful to everyone who has honestly and selflessly performed and continues to perform their duties in the Special Operations Forces of the SAF. "People are more important than the enemy" - this rule for the soldiers of the Special Forces has been the guiding principle and will always remain intact.

In order to change the world, it is necessary first of all to begin to change yourself, to eliminate anger and doubts. Many of you sacrifice precious things for the protection of the country. But the result of this dedication is still there: Ukraine is still a country of free people.

Always remember the tribute to each of the dead. They deserved their eternal respect, they gave the most precious thing for their people - their lives. Always pay tribute to their fellow combatants not only in words but also in actions, because all of them are members of our great homeland - the homeland of the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
