Another issue discussed at the meeting was the state of preparation of water and sewage facilities, the ability of the population to make settlements for the provided public services and the renewal of disrupted networks as a result of the Russian aggression. Oleksandr Starukh noted that the enterprises of water supply and sewage management, which are located on the controlled territory, perform their functions. Two of them are located in temporarily occupied Berdyansk and Melitopoli. These facilities are preparing for the winter period as much as possible and provide services.

The head of the region also said that the regional enterprise "Vodokanal" is in a difficult situation. Of the eight structural divisions, six are located on the temporarily occupied territory and one is directly in the war zone in Stepnogorsk, so services are not provided there. As for the city of Zaporizhzhya, the utility company is working, winter preparation is proceeding according to plan. The level of payment for services rendered remains stable.
